Vermont’s First (Secret) Cannabis Cup is Tonight and It’s Going to be a S***show

Eli Harrington 1 Apr 2018

When Heady Vermont first announced that on December 1, we would be hosting Vermont’s first legal cannabis competition, The Headies, we thought that we were the first ones.

It turns out, we were WRONG!

Vermont’s first-ever cannabis competition is happening TODAY. Not only is it a secret cup (oops) and the first of its kind in Vermont, but it’s also a whole new kind of cannabis competition entirely.

The precise location of the event has been a widely-guarded secret, but thanks to months of investigative probing, Heady Vermont has learned that the cup will be taking place at 109 State Street in Montpelier.

What makes today’s cannabis cup so different?

To answer that question, consider these questions:

  • What are the most concentrated kinds of medical marijuana product on the market?
  • What are the most fast-acting medical marijuana products on the market?
  • What is the most discreet way of consuming medical marijuana products in public?
  • What kind of cannabis cup has NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE ?

The answer?

The FIRST EVER MEDICAL MARIJUANA SUPPOSITORY CUP

Contest Entry #2

Full spectrum medical marijuana concentrates are some of the most fast-acting and powerful cannabis products available today, but an increasing number of people don’t want to smoke flower or take ‘dabs’ of shatter or wax or resin products and prefer discreet, delicious ingestible products such as edibles and tinctures.

Competition #5

And while many Vermont consumers want legal access to high quality edibles, concentrates, and good old-fashioned marijuana buds, it’s clear that suppositories are quickly penetrating the cannabis market.

According to deeply-embedded sources, the first suppository cup categories will include:

  • Hybrid
  • Indabutt
  • Shativa
  • Sharter
  • Concentrate (and push)
  • Edibles

The winners will be announced on Sunday, April 1 at 11:59pm.

Will Heady Vermont be including a suppository category in its inaugural Headies competition this fall? Pucker up — and stay tuned!
