We’re so excited to be hosting this jam-packed weekend of learning. We’re welcoming three trusted teachers who’ve been working with cannabis for many years–long before the CBD and hemp boom arrived. Come learn the ins and outs of how and why our bodies, minds and spirits respond so strongly to this plant, as Tammi Sweet, of Heartstone Center, explains the human endocannabinoid system.

Tammi will also share how best to use cannabis for pain, one of the places it really shines, particularly in light of the challenges of opioid use. VCIH’s own Betzy Bancroft will offer a comprehensive materia medica on cannabis, sharing lesser-known uses, history, chemistry, and how to think about it as an herb among many, not necessarily the one and only panacea.

Finally, Stephanie Boucher, of Cannabotanicals, will do a hands-on medicine-making intensive, instructing participants in DIY preps that are effective and safe and take advantage of the whole plant, not only isolated constituents.
