More 4/20 week celebrations!

Join Lt. Governor David Zuckerman and Heady Vermont at a special Friday, April 19 Coffee with Constituents where we celebrate a piece of beautiful Vermont cannabis art created by Julie Fisheye – with leaves donated by Fisheye, Northeast Kingdom Hemp, Willow Crossing Farm, Eric St. Croix, Tito Bern, Vermont Awards & Engraving, Humble Roots Horticultureand Vermont Cannabis Solutions.

Julie is donating her work to the Statehouse permanent collection, but until it’s officially accepted, it will be hanging in the office of our very cannabis-friendly Lt. Governor!

“I am very excited to be hosting a cannabis, hemp, CBD themed ‘Coffee with Constituents’ on Friday, April 19th from 8:30-10:00 am in my office. These informal gatherings offer advocates an opportunity to connect, share their message and plan a day of activism and engagement. This morning will have added significance as it marks the first time Vermonters will celebrate 4/20 since cannabis has been legalized. Legalization is one step in addressing the great injustices of the war on drugs, disproportionately impacting people of color and poor people. I am excited to unveil a cannabis inspired work of art by a local Vermont artist, Julie Duquette. The piece will hang in my office and serve as a reminder of the great effort of so many to get to this point. It will also serve to inspire the work that we still must do to achieve a responsible, regulated, local cannabis system.”

– Lieutenant Governor David Zuckerman (P/D-Vermont)
