Champlain Valley Dispensary/Southern Vermont Wellness (CVD/SVW) will host Dr. Dustin Sulak at Contois Auditorium in Burlington on Friday, April 6 from 6-7:30pm for a free presentation on Cannabinoids and Opioid Reduction.

The presentation will focus on the use of medical cannabis for reducing or replacing opioids in the treatment of chronic pain.

The presentation is an educational opportunity for Vermont’s 5,000+ medical cannabis patients and caregivers to learn more about the effective use of cannabis in pain treatment. Prospective medical cannabis patients, family, friends and the general public are also invited to attend.

The event will be streamed live on the CVD Facebook page for those who cannot attend in person.

Dr. Dustin Sulak is an integrative medicine pioneer with a focus in osteopathy, mind-body medicine, and medical cannabis. He is the founder of Integr8 Health in Falmouth and Maine Integrative Healthcare in Manchester, two integrative health practices in Maine that treat over 18,000 patients with medical cannabis.

He has helped set the standard of care for the use of medical cannabis in a wide variety of conditions including chronic pain, multiple sclerosis (MS), cancer, seizure disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more.

Dr. Sulak lectures nationally to medical providers and patients on the safe and effective use of medical cannabis and has developed clinical approaches to treating patients in the withdrawal and replacement of opioids. To learn more about Dr. Sulak, visit healer.com.

Dr. Sulak will present on Medical Cannabis in the Treatment of Chronic Pain: The Evidence and Clinical Essentials for Improving Function and Reducing Opioid Use in Your Patients.
