2017 Hemp Fest Business Pitch Competition

Heady Vermont begins accepting applications for the Hemp Fest Business Pitch Competition presented by Purple Fox Engineering, starting on July 10, 2017 (see form below). This competition is aimed at entrepreneurs who wish to launch or develop their hemp or cannabis business in Vermont. NOTE: Due to increased interest and requests from applicants, we have pushed the competition deadline back to August 15.

Finalists Announced: August 31

Application information will be available to the public on July 10. Entries close on August 15. Five finalists will be announced on July 31, and will make their pitches to a panel of judges during Hemp Fest at Burke Mountain Hotel and Conference Center. The winner will be announced at the end of the day and receive substantial four-figure cash prize to jump start their business.
