Legalization Celebration at Willow Crossing Farm

[cbtabs][cbtab title=”Legalization Celebration”]

Join us for a Celebration at Willow Crossing Farm on July 1, the Day Legalization Goes Into Effect.

Following the Vermont Legislature’s historic passage of a bill legalizing recreational cannabis use for adults, and Gov. Phil Scott signing the bill into law, Heady Vermont will host a celebration for members and the general public on July 1 – the day legalization goes into effect. Our celebration will take place at Willow Crossing Farm in Johnson. Willow Crossing Farm is an experimental and educational organic family farm, and the birthplace of the Prospect Rock Permaculture Project.

The event will feature onsite camping and swimming, FREE shuttle transportation, a genetics exchange, an exhibition of local Vermont vendors including growers, CBD producers and more, live music, yoga, food vendors, local beer, free cannabis growing demonstrations and workshops, and door prizes. Check out the above tabs to buy tickets, get camping and travel info and more!!

NOTE: Attendance for this event is capped at 2,000 and we expect that it may sell out. If you have purchased a membership, you may pick up your card at the box office. Tickets may also be purchased at the box office until we reach capacity.

Music

We’re excited to welcome a kickass music lineup to the July 1 Legalization Celebration at Willow Crossing Farm!

Homegrown All Stars

Stay tuned for a special announcement about the all-star lineup we’re putting together uniquely for this event. Heady jams for all!

Barika

“Led by their grooves, Barika is wholly rhythmic, captivating audiences with the beautiful, hypnotic way in which they interweave melody and groove to create something that is not only danceable, but incredibly interesting to listen to. Barika creates a soundscape of funk soaked in psychedelic, West African resonance.”
– Performer Magazine

Tenderbellies

A rambling band of rabble-rousers from the rolling hills of the Champlain Valley. Representing a broad diversity in musical background, taste, and stage manners, The Tenderbellies have a little something for everyone.Image may contain: 2 people, people on stage, people playing musical instruments and concert

Conscious Roots

As Northern Vermonts roots reggae band, Conscious Roots has come together to create a mix of original music blending afro-beat rhythms, ska, jazz, and rock. Celebrating our fifth year together, our style has been compared to Rage Against the Machine meets the fathers of reggae. The philosophy held is that this is not a place but a state of mind that continues throughout daily life. With a progressive message of hope and unity we have become Vermont’s biggest underground reggae band, where we hold our community of people to the highest regards. Picking up Grammy nominated drummer Jason Corbiere, Room Full of Blues, this band of Vermonters has taken the next step towards the ultimate goal of bringing people together, no matter what differences we have.

Honeytwist

The creators of Heady Vermont’s official theme song, Honeytwist has been delivering freshly sliced music from Winooski, Vermont since 2017.

Honeytwist describe themselves as “Vermont rock,” a jammy/indie/rock homegrown in Winooski. They are a quartet of millennials, featuring guitar, bass, keys, drums and voice. Check out their EP at www.honeytwistmusic.com, and hear live multi-track recordings of select shows at https://archive.org/details/@honeytwist.
