I’m excited to share this review as Dirty Taxi x Gas Runtz may be my newest obsession. This sample was provided by Midnight Farms in St. Johnsbury Vermont – check out my last review of their sister-strain, Mike Larry x Gas Runtz.

Strain Review: Dirty Taxi x Gas Runtz

This sativa-dominant hybrid packs a medicated kick camouflaged in a citrus haze – you’ll want to put this on your stoner wish list!

The cola was neatly trimmed, showcasing a smattering of light yellow and grass-greens. Much like other commonalities of Gas Runtz, tiny purple sugar leaves and dark orange stigmas give this bud a nice coloring, all encased in enough trichomes to be frosty but not too sticky on the fingers.

The fruity flavor lingered both in taste and smell, loitering in light clouds around the room.

I’ve been on a glass bowl kick, so I used one of my hand-painted pieces from Canna Style. The sample was very moist and packed solidly. The tiny purple stigma within the flower gave the bowl a fun color. Upon my first dry hit, I tasted notes of pear and lemon.

Once lit, the heaviness of the terpinolene terpene became very prominent and smooth, a light herbaceous taste that masks the sourness of this limonene dominant strain. The fruity flavor lingered both in taste and smell, loitering in light clouds around the room.

It only took a few draws to feel the euphoria. Happy and talkative, I found myself aware enough to be creative or to just go about my daily tasks. I was very relaxed but not weighed down.

After two sessions of this strain, I had more mobility and severely less pain than I had been experiencing.

I have early stages of psoriatic arthritis, affecting my knee and the joints in my hands – I was having a really rough week where I couldn’t form a fist let alone put weight on my hand. After two sessions of this strain, I had more mobility and severely less pain than I had been experiencing.

If you plan to take some heavy hits during a session with Dtx x GRtz, I’d have munchies prepped! Since the effects were not too heady, I recommend smoking this around late afternoon to mellow out from a long day. However, if you’re someone who can smoke sativa well into the late evening, this would be a great strain for to partake in before bed.
