Next up in our Headies strain reviews is the potently relaxing Snowball by Vermont Select – First place winner in the Headies Cup 2022 Outdoor Flower category.

Snowball has an extremely dense bud structure, feeling solid when squeezed, with a medium to thin stem size. Deep orange hairs cover this sizable sample in its entirety, giving it a furry effect. Absolutely saturated with trichomes, it glitters under light like a snow-covered, sunny Vermont morning.

Cured well, snowball breaks down easily and crisply. It’s surprisingly sticky once broken down, but not overly so. Initial aromas are unique, creamy and earthy. Once ground, it offers up a mix of fuel and cream amid light earthen tones. 

The incredible body high that crept up had me firmly planted in my comfy spot eating snacks well before lunch.

Like this strain’s namesake, the high I felt snowballed until I realized it may have been a mistake to smoke this early in the morning. Potently relaxing, with sedating effects.
