Strain Review: Tropicana Banana by Forbin’s Finest

Next up is 2nd place winners of the Headies Cup 2022 Sativa Flower category, Forbin’s Finest, with their Tropicana Banana.

A flurry of light and dark greens really highlight the sprinkle of kief that can be observed from stem to tip on this beautiful nugget. The bud itself is unique in appearance – the stigmas don’t stand out as much as I typically see – rather, they blend with an abundance of yellowish trichomes.

An initially sweet smell exploded into a gassy fruit stand once ground up into a light and fluffy material that was perfect for my bong. This flower definitely has a stickiness to it when handled with the fingers, but is fluffy enough that it would still be a good option for rolling. Thick opaque white smoke filled my glass, milky for sure, but never yellowed as I continued to pull.

This is a quick acting sativa and I felt really good a couple minutes after just one hit.

This Tropicana Banana offers an earthy taste, with an ever-so-slightly fruity aftertaste. It was a smooth rip that I felt in my chest, and while mellow on the exhale, it definitely had me coughing a couple times.
