BURLINGTON — Cannabis media and events platform Heady Vermont today unveiled a new look with the official re-launch of its brand channels.

The platform has implemented this strategic evolution with an eye to the startups, businesses and consumers that will grow, discover and embrace Vermont’s cannabis market.

Heady is now positioned to connect industry leaders and brands with curious consumers through an informative and immersive platform featuring an expansive collection of content.

Born from humble beginnings in 2015 out of the small city of Burlington, Heady has grown to be a statewide and regional presence as the first Vermont platform to elevate the conversation and highlight modern cannabis culture and news.

“Today’s exciting announcement is a natural progression of the innovative Heady brand offering,” said Monica Donovan, founder and CEO. “Thanks in large part to our family of partners and loyal community members, we are connected with thousands of adults weekly who work with or enjoy cannabis and CBD in their lifestyles and livelihoods.”

“We offer the cannabis industry a diverse platform that is as multifaceted as the individuals and brands we seek to connect.”

Heady re-launches with a focus on cultivating an immersive experience that educates and entertains by featuring content, partners and experts from both inside and outside the broader cannabis, hemp and CBD industries. The Heady contributor roster includes experts in business, legal, banking, cultivation, processing, culinary arts and sustainability.

Building on its expansive content, the company has also launched a new member platform that includes free or reduced BIPOC and Veteran membership levels, extensive member-only content, industry reports and priority alerts.

Heady, long known for its signature events, is bringing back The Headies: Vermont Growers Cup in the second quarter of 2022. Individual members that are up-to-date will receive free admission to the Headies Awards Party in 2022, as well as reduced competitor fees.

The limited roster of events will also include in-person business networking events three times a year, cultivation meetups and occasional webinars. In light of the ongoing pandemic, Donovan said, the company would remain flexible and focused on safety first. In addition, she hinted at a less centralized signature event launch planned for next year that would “reach every corner of the state and help draw in regional visitors.”

Heady Vermont continues to provide ongoing coverage of statewide industry developments, business news and other essential information for businesses and consumers.

“With adult use sales quickly approaching in Vermont, the hemp industry continuing to mature, and the rapid growth of neighboring industries on almost all sides of the state, businesses and consumers alike need a central resource. Heady has been, and will continue to be, the best place to provide important education, insights, news and networking for this community,” said Donovan.
