Extended Pickup Times: Veterans Day Cannabis Giveaway

In anticipation of Veterans Day (November 11), Heady Vermont organized a cannabis giveaway for veterans on Sunday at Heady Vermont offices in Burlington. Since a few more folks missed the official day, we’ve added MORE PICKUP TIMES on Veterans Day tomorrow.

The goal of the Veterans Day Cannabis Giveaway is to provide veterans with access to locally grown cannabis flower and other products in a safe space.

Vets can stop by Heady Vermont office, 250 Battery Street on Wednesday, November 11 from 4-6 p.m. Please check our event details for Coronavirus guidelines. Must be 21+ and provide Veteran ID.

Upcoming Event: Vet Sesh

Vet Sesh is an upcoming monthly event series featuring speakers and locally grown cannabis flower and product donation. It provides a place for not only veterans, but first responders to  network and learn about hemp and cannabis.

UVM Extension Industrial Hemp Training Program

Tuesdays Starting Nov. 3, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Created for agricultural and technical service providers by the University of Vermont Extension Northwest Crops and Soils Program, these new, comprehensive online webinar trainings will kick off November 3 and run continuously except for holiday weeks all the way up to February 16, 2021. Participants will have the opportunity to attend the 2021 and 2022 UVM industrial hemp conferences at no cost to them.
