Vermont COVID-19 Update: New Gathering Sizes, Cross State Travel Map

Heady Vermont Staff 10 Jul 2020

BURLINGTON, Vermont — Governor Phil Scott announced that effective June 26, arts, culture, and entertainment venues, as well as restaurants, can expand capacity for events and dining to 50% of approved occupancy size with new maximum gathering sizes for 75 people for indoor events and 150 people for outdoor events. The full guidance for lodging operations, restaurants and all other sectors is available on the ACCD website.

On Friday, July 10, ACCD and the Department of Financial Regulation (DFR) released the latest cross state travel map, which added 12 additional counties in New England and New York that can be traveled to or from without quarantine. Quarantine free travel to Vermont is now an option for 6.8 million people from 75 counties, doubling the number since the launch of the metric and map two weeks ago.

See the Updated Vermont COVID Travel Map.

The map will continue to be updated every Friday as part of the modeling data from DFR and you can also find an updated spreadsheet of non-quarantine counties each week.
