Third Vermont Hemp Fest Features Hemp Industry Daily’s Kristen Nichols, Double the Programming, and Shane Murley Band

This year’s Hemp Fest features agricultural, hemp and CBD exhibitors, food trucks, a Sunday Hemp Brunch and live music, along with a new dedicated site for attendees.

We are very proud to announce the third annual Vermont Hemp Fest taking place on Saturday, September 7 at Burke Mountain Hotel and Conference Center in East Burke.

Already one of Vermont’s premiere cannabis events, this year’s Hemp Fest will feature a full day of panels and workshops with nearly twice as much programming as 2018, dozens of agricultural, hemp and CBD exhibitors, a Friday Night Business Networking event, food trucks, live music by the Shane Murley Band, lawn games, a Sunday hemp brunch, and more.

The inaugural Hemp Fest in 2017 welcomed over 500 attendees. Two years later, with the number of registered hemp growers having quadrupled in number, and exponential growth in the public’s interest in all things cannabis, Vermont Hemp Fest is a lively platform for the agricultural hemp industry to engage, advocate and learn against the scenic backdrop of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom at the cusp of harvest season.

The keynote speaker for Hemp Fest this September will be Kristin Nichols, editor of Hemp Industry Daily, where she leads their coverage of the hemp and CBD industries. Previously, she worked at the Associated Press for nearly 20 years.

Nichols started covering the cannabis legalization movement in 2009 – when medical stores started popping up around Denver – and wrote about the state’s first legal hemp harvest. Kristen has also covered agriculture and politics in Maryland and her home state of Georgia.

There will also be a wealth of information for hemp businesses about Vermont and federal regulatory changes and rules, as well as valuable presentations from a variety of hemp industry experts around business, cultivation, distribution and more.

Presale Pricing is only $25 for a full day pass, which can be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets. Heady Vermont members, veterans and students can get special discounted day pass for $15. Ticket prices at the door will be $30 general public/$20 members.

Interested vendors can sign up on the new Hemp Fest event page. Potential speakers and presenters can also fill out our application form. Applicants are encouraged to read all the instructions before they begin filling out the form.

Prospective sponsors, speakers, attendees or vendors with questions can email [email protected].

Thanks to the 2019 Vermont Hemp Fest sponsors! Vermont Hempicurean, Coyote River Hemp Company and Lily Hill.
