Heat wave and cancellations led to September reschedule.

Due to vendor cancellations and projected temperatures in the high 90s, Heady Vermont has decided to postpone our upcoming Summer Farm Jam and New England Cannabis Guide Launch, originally scheduled for Saturday, July 20 at Brattleboro’s historic Bordertown Farm. The rescheduled event will be slated for Saturday, September 28 in the hopes of more seasonable weather.

“We were excited about doing our first big event in southern Vermont,” says Heady Vermont CEO Monica Donovan. “But vendor cancellations, plus the rising temperatures, led us to make the decision to postpone.” Donovan adds, “It’s really important to us that everyone has both a fun and safe time.”

Heady Vermont is still launching The New England Cannabis Guide this week. A comprehensive, full-color magazine showcasing New England cannabis businesses and attractions, the Guide features a wide variety of travel information, including state profiles, legalization information, growing tips, and a forward from Lizzie Post, co-president of the Emily Post Institute, and author of Higher Etiquette: A Guide to the World of Cannabis, from Dispensaries to Dinner Parties.

“We celebrate the normalization of cannabis use every day,” says Donovan, “with or without a party. Our annual Guide drops on Friday and we’re excited to get it into the hands of New England readers over the next few weeks!”

The Farm Jam is sponsored by Vermont Hempicurean, Sarabia Holistic, Coyote River Hemp Company, and MCR Labs.
