In Their Own Words: Testimonies from Statehouse

On April 5, 2019, the Vermont House of Representatives Government Operations’ Committee heard testimony about S.54, a bill to tax and regulate cannabis in Vermont that was passed by the Vermont Senate but not by the Vermont House, and will not be considered by the Vermont Legislature until 2020.

The testimony on Friday, April 5 included representatives from Vermont’s medical marijuana dispensaries, a farmer member of Rural Vermont, and Heady Vermont’s co-founder Eli Harrington:
