We’re living in an incredible time right now with more people shaking off the fog of Prohibition and thinking about this plant in a different way.
Thanks to family friend and Vermont patient advocate Mark Tucci, Eli has been familiar with medical cannabis advocacy for over a decade and jumped in full-time in summer 2015 as a volunteer participant with the Vermont Cannabis Collaborative (VTCC) before launching the Vermontijuana blog in 2015 and joining forces with Monica to found Heady Vermont in February 2016.
Eli’s interest in cannabis:
“We’re living in an incredible time right now with more people shaking off the fog of Prohibition and thinking about this plant in a different way. As someone who loves Vermont and sees the potential for this plant and our state in the future, I didn’t want to sit on the sidelines and watch the big money and out-of-state interests be the only ones who shape how things play out in Vermont and I thought that we needed more grassroots action and jumped in with both feet!”
