Business Spotlight: Green Mountain Hemp Company Opens in New Location

Healing comes in many different forms, but for Michele Waters and her husband Denis, hemp lies at the root of all physical and emotional healing – as well as at the center of their business, Green Mountain Hemp Company. GMHC recently moved to a new location in St. Albans, and their grand opening is this Saturday, April 7, 10AM at 81 North Main Street.
A self-described “healer of sorts,” Waters combines her professional massage and Reiki backgrounds with her CBD-based products to assist customers coming in the door with a wide variety of ailments. Green Mountain Hemp Company’s products are THC-free, full-spectrum plant extracts which contain naturally occurring cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes. Taken together, these compounds create an “entourage effect” for the greatest degree of healing power.
Waters’ passion for healing goes far beyond providing CBD products for her customers. With Denis plagued by back pain, and struggling to manage a serious thyroid problem of her own, CBD has had a profoundly positive effect on her personal life as well.
Having experienced personal health benefits from regular use of CBD, Waters and her husband now work side-by-side to share their experiences and products with a growing audience. They’ve moved into the new store space and created an online CBD shop to take orders.
To celebrate their new expansion, Green Mountain Hemp Company will offer free shipping on orders over $150 and monthly subscription bundles for customers interested in ongoing CBD product education.
Both Michele and Denis Waters say they are overjoyed and “incredibly grateful” for the chance they’ve been given to help others grow and heal – both physically and spiritually – through the use of affordable Vermont-made, all-natural CBD products. Their new personal favorites include everyday bath soaps, bath salts, lotions, and their very own creation called “The Gift,” a combination of frankincense, myrrh, and gold.
“It’s so exciting to me,” says Waters, “and now that I’m just building this CBD business, it’s like healing going into bottles.”
The couple also own and operate VT Grow Shop, an indoor and outdoor growing supply business which shares the St. Albans location with Green Mountain Hemp Company.
Green Mountain Hemp Company will welcome newcomers to their store at the grand opening this Saturday, April 7, at 10 am, at 81 North Main Street in Saint Albans. The event will be hosted by Kiss FM and feature live music, free giveaways, samples, and tee-shirts, plus refreshments from Traveled Tea.
