Montpelier Green Drinks Get a Little Greener Tomorrow…No, That Doesn’t Mean We’re Putting Cannabis in the Drinks

MONTPELIER, Vt. — This week is a big one for Heady Vermont as we’ve got some BIG things in the works behind the scenes that we’ll be sharing publicly soon, and privately tomorrow at Green Drinks at the Skinny Pancake MONTPELIER LOCATION.
Green Drinks is a ‘socially conscious monthly networking event’ hosted by the Skinny Pancake at their Burlington – and now Montpelier – location(s) that features craft Vermont beers and ciders at a free or discounted rate as a fundraiser for a local nonprofit.
At tomorrow’s Green Drinks in Montpelier, Heady Vermont is proud to be the sponsor where we’ll be pouring discounted pints of Green State Lager from Zero Gravity Brewery.

We’ve gotten a surprising amount of questions about the ‘green’ part of this event title, so to be clear: it’s called that because typically the nonprofit that benefits is environmentally-focused and a member of 1% for the Planet, an outstanding Vermont-based nonprofit organization.
It’s always family-friendly, always includes some munchies, and is always a great time to meet new people, and help raise awareness and money (free for you, we’re the ones paying to sponsor) for a local organization.
So no, there won’t be any marijuanas in your beers…at least not at this event and not from us. Whether that makes you more or less likely to show up, swing by the Skinny Pancake (Montpelier location) at 6pm and say ‘high’ to Heady Vermont Co-Founder and Publisher, Monica Donovan!
