Heady Times at the Skinny Pancake: Tuesday, April 19

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Over 100 people packed into The Skinny Pancake last night for our first event, Heady Times: The Future of Vermont Cannabis. Attendees ran the spectrum from aspiring entrepreneurs to industry employees to advocates, patients and more.

We maxed out our onsite Statehouse Shout Out forms (75+) and are preparing copies to go out to legislators ASAP.

• Sen. Dave Zuckerman for a rousing and inspirational call to action (Call 1 (800) 322-5616 and ask for your representative).
• Joel Bedard of Vermont Hemp Company for keeping us in the loop on current hemp law and possibilities, and providing tactile examples of hemp products for attendees’ appreciation.
• Michael LaTulippe and Nichole Snow of Northeast Cannabis Coalition/Cannabis Society for expanding on the possibilities for coordinated regional biz/tech efforts and medical patient advocacy.
